COURTROOM and COURTROOM TECHNOLOGY

Judge Urbanski usually conducts court in the third floor courtroom in Roanoke. If there are multiple parties or counsel involved, please notify either Sue DePuy (540-857-5124; sued@vawd.uscourts.gov), Becky Mills (540-857-5152; email:  beckym@vawd.uscourts.gov) or Kristin Ayersman (540-857-5100 ext. 5364; email:  kristina@vawd.uscourts.gov) to arrange for a larger courtroom in Roanoke. Hearings with Judge Urbanski also may be scheduled in the courtrooms in any of the divisional courthouses for the convenience of parties and counsel.

The following services are available in the Magistrate Courtroom: Connection for a laptop at the lectern. Laptops should be set for a 1024x768 resolution. Document Camera VHS/DVD Player HI-8/Digital-8 Player Audio Cassette Player Video conferencing Teleconferencing

Due to the many types of DVD formats we cannot guarantee that all DVD's will play in the DVD player. Please make arrangements with the Clerk's office to test DVD's prior to any hearings.
