MOTIONS TO SEAL, PROTECTIVE ORDERS AND PERSONAL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

Parties should be mindful of the fact that all pleadings are filed electronically on the CM/ECF system and are readily available to the public.  Counsel and parties should take care to remove any personal identifying information, such as addresses, social security numbers, account and other identifying numbers, when filing such documents.  Motions to Seal are the subject of Standing Order 2005-4.  Protective Orders submitted in civil cases should conform to the terms of that Standing Order.
