Defendants in Custody
In-custody defendants are routinely held in facilities throughout the District. Please be sure to confirm your client's location before traveling to a specific facility. Should you need to travel to a jail outside of Washington County, Virginia, please electronically file correspondence outlining the need for travel, the location that you will be traveling to and the date that you plan to travel on. Doing so assists the judge with approving payment and reimbursement of expenses.
Proposed Orders
All motions before Judge Sargent must be accompanied by a proposed order in word processing format forwarded to Judge Sargent and her judicial assistant, Robin Bordwine, by email.
